　　13岁的黑人小孩克里斯（泰勒·詹姆斯·威廉姆 Tyler James Williams 饰）生活在纽约布鲁克林区，家中有做好几份低等工拼命养家、极度抠门的老爸朱利叶斯（泰瑞·克鲁斯 Terry Crews 饰），有虚荣、能干的大嗓门老妈罗谢尔（蒂琪娜·阿诺 Tichin  a Arnold 饰），还有一对麻烦的弟妹德鲁（特昆·里奇蒙德 Tequan Richmond 饰）和唐娅（Imani Hakim 饰）。到了上学年龄，克里斯被严格的老妈送入白人学校，不出所料受尽欺侮，但也有幸交到一个好朋友——因瘦弱苍白同样要做受气包的格雷戈（文森特·马特拉 Vincent Martella 饰），每天从家里到学校同样吵闹和无奈，克里斯始终用一种无所谓的自嘲精神面对这一切……
　　本剧里面“克里斯”的原型是艾美奖得主、喜剧明星克里斯·洛克（Chris Rock），并由他本人亲自担任独白。

　　Netflix将在9月15日上线《美国囧案 American Vanda》首季，该剧风格是真实罪案纪录片，但其实是讽刺题材，剧中案情指有人在高中向27名教师的汽车喷上JJ图案。在8集的第一季，一位有抱负的学生兼记录片工作者Peter Maldanaldo（Tyler Alvarez饰），调查被指控犯下该恶作剧，并在争议下被开除出校的高中四年级生Dylan Maxwell（Jimmy Tatro饰）。

　　这部 Netflix 原创喜剧新片《无为大师》由因出演《公园与游憩》而声名大噪的喜剧演员阿兹·安萨里自编、自导、自演，基本上是根据阿兹·安萨里自己的生活经历改编。《无为大师》讲述了纽约一个年界三十的演员德夫的工作和生活。他连自己下一餐要吃什么都无法决定，更不用说接下来的人生路要如何抉择。德夫的故事在搞笑的同时也反映主人公的勃勃雄心，他的生活就像拍电影一样，不仅极具广度而且洋溢着浓烈的个人气息。片中将展示老年人的困境、移民经历，以及怎么寻找最美味的意大利面当晚饭。本片由萨里和《公园与游憩》编剧阿伦·扬联合制作，由阿兹·安萨里、阿伦·扬、迈克尔·舒尔、戴夫·贝姬和戴维·米内尔监制。

宮城、大阪、北海道?東京を舞台に、時系列を入れ替えながらストーリーが紡がれた「キリエのうた」。岩井が手がけた脚本は時系列に沿って執筆されており、今回はこの脚本と初期編集版をもとに全10話、5時間半超えのドラマが制作された。 　　「路上のルカ」には、主人公キリエと夏彦のシーンや、キリエが楽曲「幻影」を歌唱するシーンなどの未公開映像を収録。岩井は「『路上のルカ』は『キリエのうた』のそれぞれのエピソードをじっくりたっぷり描いていて、物語の向かって行く先は一緒でも、まるで違う体感、読後感の作品になりました」とコメントした。
